The Benefits of Visceral Manual Therapy with Dr. Missy Albrecht

Dr. Missy Albrecht is a Visceral Manual Physical Therapist in
Denver, Co and she found this specific niche after a bout with
chronic fatigue and low back pain. Standard diagnosis made it
unclear what was causing the pain but after a professor in
physical therapy school shifted her organs, Dr. Albrect’s pain
changed. And so did her life and career.


I’ve personally seen Dr. Albrecht in person for her service at
Denver Sports Recovery in the Highlands neighborhood but she has
since added a second location at Nurture on Federal Boulevard.
 Missy has a strong mission that led her to her specialty
and it can best be explained in her own words, “Expanding
someone’s movement mindset to include the importance of organ
movement, and how various parts of our environment affect how our
body moves, including body awareness.”
