What would it be like to feel 100% certainty in your goals? I’m
going to teach you some simple tools to create sustainable,
lasting results in this episode. Know that whenever you set
yourself a goal, your brain creates resistance. It tells you
“there’s no evidence you can do this! What if you fail?” Let’s
overcome that today.


How do you navigate the confusion and resistance your brain
throws at you when you decide your goals? First, understand why
it is creating this resistance. It comes down to a fear of
failure and a primal fear of risk exposure. Your brain looks for
evidence that you can reach your goals, but what if there isn’t
any?


You can choose to disregard what your brain tells you.
Acknowledge it, but don’t buy into it. No one can know what will
happen in the future; the only way to find out is to try. How do
you try? You begin by trying on the persona of 100% certainty
that you will reach your goal.


Living in 100% certainty that you are reaching your goal makes
decision making simpler. Knowing that you are going to reach your
goal, the things you need to reach it become just a matter of
fact. The mental tug of war with yourself becomes a thing of the
past. The background chatter stops and taking action becomes just
a straightforward part of your day.


I want to leave you with this thought. If believing with 100%
certainty feels this good, why wouldn’t you believe it? You can
choose what you believe.
