high-speed rail connections. Giorgio Travaini, Executive Director
of Rail Research Europe, is at the head of the central European
centre, which focusses on the development of rail transport as a
whole. And this includes much more than fast express trains,
because the railways connect people and goods down to the most
remote regions of the continent. The goal: building Europe’s
integrated rail network.
