I’m delighted to welcome a guest whose work I deeply admire — Ben
Dancer, the founder of Zed Sleep.
Ben is an experienced marketing leader with experience across
multiple consumer and tech brands, most notably he helped to take
Harry’s shaving company from early stage to high-growth and
global.
Ben has a brilliant mind and a truly unique way of thinking about
rest. He connects the perfect dots between science, comfort and
design to create something genuinely different — sleepwear that
doesn’t just feel good, but actually helps the body relax and
recover.
What I love about Ben’s approach is how intentional it is.
Everything he creates comes from a real curiosity about what
makes us sleep better and how small, thoughtful choices can
transform the way we rest.
I’m really inspired by his vision, I slept in his pajamas and was
truly impressed by how thoughtfully designed they are and how
incredibly good they feel on the skin. I’m so glad he’s joining
us today.
My very honest product review:
Ben,
I wanted to share some detailed feedback after wearing your
pajama and honestly, it’s a very different experience from
anything I’ve tried before.
What stands out immediately is the feeling of deep physical ease
combined with a subtle sense of being held. Even as individual
parts of the body fully relax, there’s this almost cocoon-like
containment that creates a sense of safety without any
restriction.
The fit is truly unique. It doesn’t feel like a garment you
have to adapt to it feels like it adapts to you. That’s rare. The
material responds intuitively to the body, allowing complete
freedom of movement while still maintaining structure and gentle
support.
I also really noticed the thoughtful design in the back, where
the slightly longer cut prevents any exposure. It’s a small
detail, but it makes a meaningful difference in comfort –
especially during sleep, when movement is constant.
What impressed me most is this:
You don’t adjust to the product, the product adjusts to
you.
That creates a sense of effortlessness and trust, which is
exactly what you want in something you wear at night.
Another aspect that truly deserves to be highlighted is the seam
construction. It’s remarkable. You can genuinely feel that an
exceptional level of thought, precision, and craftsmanship has
gone into every detail. Nothing feels accidental. The seams
support the structure of the garment without ever interfering
with comfort.
There’s a kind of quiet intelligence in how everything is put
together, you may not consciously notice it at first, but your
body does. And it contributes significantly to that overall
feeling of ease and being gently held.
To me, this is where the product really stands out:
It’s not just well-designed, it’s deeply considered.
If I had to summarize the experience in one sentence:
It feels like the body can fully let go, because the material and
construction quietly take over the work of adapting.
Really impressive work!!
Best,
Nina
