Irina Georgescu has become the voice of Romanian food in the
years that she's lived outside it.. She believes that there
is no better way to tell the tale of a nation than through its
food, and in her latest book, Tava, she unpicks the rich fabric
of its political, spiritual and culinary past to understand its
present.
