In 2020 Miriam’s Meditations podcast began as a way to offer an
online version of the breath and meditation classes that she had
been teaching on the island of Maui. Exploring the fields of
inner being, consciousness and subtle energies and then
translating these experiences into ordinary reality is
Miriam’s way to share and expand what it means to be human
in these amazing times.
Together in this episode we explore:
Miriam's Personal journey on a quest to understanding
self
The benefits of starting a pranayama practice to settle down
emotions
Staying consistent with the practice and breath
Challenges to maintaining a disciplined practice and tools to
get started.
Learning to sit with yourself in stillness and bringing in
rituals and practices that are supportive to you
Uncovering different belief patterns through meditation
Authenticity that arrives through stillness
Power in continuing to do the work and changing how you
interact with life
Miriam shares her core of belief of not being enough and how
she learned to overcome it.
The gift of having others share and hold space for own
personal shifts
Using your experiences as a way to awaken consciousness
Key knowing of I am responsible for my life
Asking the question of: “What can I shift”
The power that comes out of cleaning up your own life
Untapped Power: Inner activism through group meditation
Consciousness and spirituality have always been a part of
Miriam’s life’s journey. Attaining a yoga teaching certification
in 2000 and taught for several years. My current field of
spiritual study for the last 18 years is Light Body, as taught by
Duane Packer of Luminessence (orindaben.com).
