In our 26th episode of the Power your Document series, we're
heading to Alaska, figuratively speaking. Alaska is featured in
our Paper of the Week segment where we look at
in particular the US' take-over of Alaska in 1867. Moving on
to the Weekly Discussion topic where we focus on
a subject that for most writers is a formiddable habit to kick,
and what I'm referring to of course are 'crutch words'. These are
the words that appear over and over again in our writing, and
more often than not we're using them sub-consciously in
conversations too. Lastly, in our Quick Tips
segment, we take a closer look at common spelling errors that are
made when trying to ascertain possession for nouns ending with
the letters s, sh, x, ch and z.
