In keeping with our promise to help our listeners improve
their writing skills, PYD Episode 45 brings us some more
interesting and useful writing tips. First up, Dave introduces us
to a paper about Richard Wright’s novel “The Outsider”.  The
paper discussed is this week’s Paper of the Week on AcaDemon and
is paper #144790, “Richard Wright’s “The Outsider”: An
Existential Examination”.  The paper was chosen as this
week’s Paper of the Week not only because it is well-written and
very interesting, but also because  it highlights Wright’s
birthdate, which was September 4, 1908.  Moving on, Dave
discusses mixed metaphors, what they are, and how and why to
avoid them when we write.  And lastly, but never least, Dave
leaves us with a writing tip.  This week’s tip is on the use
of ‘enquire’ and ‘inquire’.  So listen up! Listen in! And
learn!
