️TW: In this episode, we talk about childhood trauma, family
rejection, and violence from a parent. Please listen with care.
If you have experienced similar situations, make sure you are in
a safe headspace before tuning in.
„We can’t find safety in sameness – but we can build
belonging in difference.“

Timothy Tasch grew up moving more than 35 times as a “military
brat” – always the new kid, always saying goodbye. Behind closed
doors, he faced rejection, manipulation, and violence from a
father who had no space for his authentic self.

At 16, Timothy left Canada with a suitcase to start a new life in
Germany.

What followed was a journey of resilience, allyship, and learning
to write his own story.

This conversation is raw, vulnerable, and inspiring. It is about
the courage to break free, the power of allies, and the reminder
that we are not built to do this alone.

Today, Timothy is a trainer, coach, and speaker on
diversity, allyship, new work, and communication. His story is
proof that we can transform pain into purpose – and that one ally
can change everything.

This is the deepest JORMAZIN` conversation yet – and I am deeply
honored that Timothy chose this space for his very first podcast
as a guest.

What you’ll take away from this episode:

Why diversity is not a buzzword but a lived experience of
belonging and difference.

How childhood trauma can shape resilience and authentic
leadership.

Why allyship is never optional – and how one sentence can change
a life.

What it means to “make things speakable” in teams and
organizations.

How to hold on through tough times – and become the ally someone
else needs.

This episode is for you if you …

have ever felt different, rejected, or out of place

want to understand allyship & diversity beyond buzzwords

are a leader, trainer, or HR professional working with teams

need courage to rewrite your own story

want to be reminded: you can become the ally someone is waiting
