Jason Colleran: Overhead Athlete Injuries & Risk Mitigation Strategies

In this episode of the Braun Performance & Rehab Podcast, Dan
is joined by Jason Colleran to discuss injuries in the overhead
athlete, in particular baseball, in addition to strategies to
reduce risk of injury. More than 20 years of experience in
athlete development and biomechanics, and having personally
suffered from overuse injuries that ended his baseball career,
Colleran developed the Kinetic Arm in response to the arm injury
epidemic plaguing sports. As a biomechanics consultant, he
assesses clients for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal
dysfunction to help athletes maximize performance and minimize
injury risks. His extensive knowledge of anatomical function has
afforded him the opportunity to work with world-class
professional athletes in MLB, NFL, NBA, UFC, ATP and more.
Determined to find solutions and follow his passion for helping
athletes and active individuals, Colleran asserts, “My goal is to
offer the highest level of dynamic arm care to help aid in
protection, performance, recovery, and prevention. I created this
to help people increase their overall arm health, so they can
continue to be active and do what they love.
