Taylie Liddell: Taylie’s Journey of Resilience in Sport, Chronic Illness & Knee Injury

In this episode of the Braun Performance & Rehab Podcast, Dan
is joined by Taylie Liddell to discuss her journey in soccer
while also overcoming an ACL tear and Ulcerative Colitis.


Taylie Liddell is from Southern California. She played for UNLV
women’s soccer and graduated out of the program in 2023.
Throughout her time playing she developed an autoimmune disease
called ulcerative colitis, as well as tearing her ACL/meniscus in
her final season. Taylie made the decision July 2024 to get a
total colectomy, leaving her with an ostomy bag! All of this led
her to begin nursing school at GCU so she can help other people
going through similar situations! She is a big believer in living
each day to the fullest and appreciating your health while you
have it!
