If you are a restaurant owner, how do you feel when
employees ask for a raise because they are doing good in their
jobs?

When you are having a salary negotiation with a worker
asking for a raise, what could be your basis for granting it?
Remember, we should not give an increase in salary just because
someone is good at their designated job - because we expect them
to perform well anyway, right? We only provide a raise if they do
new things apart from what they have signed up for, or in other
words if we give them new tasks or responsibilities.

But what if you, as a restaurant owner, think about how
to ask for a raise? The same thing applies to you. If you
continue to do the same thing for the last few months, that
shouldn't warrant you to get a raise? You must be working on
solving more significant problems.

If you desire to give yourself a raise as a restaurant
owner, if you want to grow your sales or have outstanding
results, you need to shift and work on new things.
