Do you feel resistance around getting sick? Do you judge yourself
and others when pain, illness or dis-ease arises? What about
caring for yourself? Do you allow yourself to be cared for?
Living in a body is a precious opportunity to learn, feel and
connect. If we strive to develop empathy, one way is by
tolerating (or even welcoming) the temporary state of discomfort
without resistance. Practice simple breathing and Tonglen
meditation to awaken empathy and allow yourself to receive
care.
