About Crystal


Crystal Anderson-Baggs describes herself as a storyteller,
connector and relationship builder. Raised in rural Newfoundland,
she is passionate about rural economic development especially
within the agricultural industry as an industry


She is a graduate of the Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) program
from Memorial University with a concentration in Marketing and a
minor in English. Crystal continued with her education as she
completed her MBA degree in 2018 from the University of
Leicester.


Her passion for all things marketing, especially grassroots and
direct marketing, has enabled her to bring forth initiatives
during her career that have grown and developed many additional
industries and markets.


She is also owner/operator of Roo Roo Photography which is based
out of Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Having spent most of her
career in Marketing Development, she found herself dabbling into
photos in an effort to complete her creative vision for her work
clients. During a very difficult time in her life, she struggled
to see the beauty in the world and it was with the help of her
camera and her son Riley, she started to see the world through a
different lens and saw the beauty within it again. Mostly self
taught and some hands-on workshops with Scott Grant and Dave
Brosha, she gained the confidence and know how to officially
start Roo Roo Photography in 2016. Since starting  Roo Roo,
she has been able to not only see beauty herself but she is
determined for her clients to see the power and beauty in
capturing life’s precious moments. In 2019, she was the recipient
of a mentorship with Chad Barry which has enabled her to take her
skills to the next level.
