In this episode of the podcast I discuss some effective recovery
techniques and strategies available for athletes & working
professionals. Recovery is a vital component of any training
program and rest/recovery days should be included in every
professionals schedule. The body thrives off of stress, once
given enough time to adapt. Prolonged stress however, be it,
physical or psychological, without adequate rest will wear the
body down resulting in fatigue, injury & illness.
I discuss the use of sleep, hydration, mobility & movement,
stress management, ice baths vs saunas and compression garments.
