Dan is joined by Dr. Jeff Buxton and Dr. Philip Prins from Grove
City College to discuss their recent research works including the
Keto Brick Study, Keto Diet and its Impact on Performance, Animal
Flow, Ankle Sprains, and so much more! Dr. Jeff Buxton is a
professor at Grove City College in Western PA. In addition to his
DSc in Human and Sport Performance, Jeff holds many other
certifications, including FMS, Y-Balance, and Animal Flow. He has
coached college tennis for six years, and has over ten years of
experience as a trainer and fitness coach in the private sector.
He loves the outdoors, calisthenics exercise, and maximizing

Dr. Philip Prins is the Chair and Associate Professor of Exercise
Science at Grove City College in Grove City, PA. Dr. Prins
conducts research focusing on Multisystem response to exercise
with and without ergogenic aids across parameters of health and
human performance, the practical impact of lifestyle on
metabolism and how metabolism impacts health, disease and
performance outcomes, and implementation of nutritional ketosis
and metabolic health modulators across populations. Dr. Prins'
areas of expertise include nutritional ketosis, cardiovascular,
metabolic, and hemodynamic responses to exercise, environmental
physiology, body composition, clinical populations, research,
human performance, sports nutrition, applied exercise and sport
physiology, dietary supplements/ergogenic aids, perceived
exertion and applied physiology of tennis performance. Dr. Prins
has published over 25 articles and has dozens of national
presentations. He collaborates with some of the leading experts,
such as Dr. Dominic D'Agostino and Andrew Koutnik on his
research!
