Dan is joined by Jeff Flagg to discuss his transition from
professional baseball to professional golf, S&C for golf, and
so much more!


Born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, Jeff Flagg (Sports
Performance Specialist) is a strength coach and athlete that has
competed at the highest level in multiple sports and has an
ongoing passion to help others achieve their highest levels of
performance on and off the playing field.  Jeff attended
Mississippi State University on a baseball scholarship,
culminating with a trip to the College World Series in
2007.  Afterwards, he was drafted in 2008 by the New York
Mets, and played in their system for 3 years during which he
became an All Star at 2 different levels as well as being named
to the 'All Decade Team for the Traverse City Beach
Bums. After retiring from Baseball in 2012, Jeff began his
career in the sport of Long Drive, culminating in him winning the
2014 Long Drive World Championship.  Since completing his
degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology in the 2010s, Jeff has
shifted his focus to the fitness industry, where Jeff has served
as the Director of Education for PurMotion, and currently spends
his time training athletes worldwide to achieve their fitness and
performance goals. Injuries during his playing career have shaped
how Jeff views training and preparation for sports, and has
ignited a passion to assist athletes in their athletic
journey.  Having been told “you’re not good enough” to reach
your life goals in one sport, but also reaching the pinnacle of a
different sport, has given Jeff a unique perspective and insight
into the highs and lows of a life in sport, and how to
prepare/handle both ends of that spectrum. Jeff’s methods have
been compiled over years of trial and error, training hundreds of
athletes, traveling all over the world, leaning on his playing
career as well as his education to “cut the fat” and get the most
out of training, so athletes can maximize their potential and
decrease their risk of injury
