Josh is a physical therapist and strength coach based in
Portland, OR. After completing a residency at Cincinnati
Children's Hospital, Josh amassed valuable experience working
with youth athletes, fueling his commitment to bridging the gap
between rehabilitation and peak performance. He founded Beyond
the Barbell Rehab and Coaching to help lifters and active adults
transition seamlessly from rehab to their best selves in the gym
and beyond. With a background as a competitive powerlifter, Josh
is deeply passionate about supporting fellow lifters in their
journey. When he’s not in the gym, Josh loves exploring the great
outdoors through traveling, hiking, scuba diving, skiing, and
