Seit einem Vierteljahrhundert begleitet das Blue Surf Magazin die
Surfkultur im deutschsprachigen Raum – mit Tiefgang, Haltung und
einem klaren Blick jenseits von Hype und Schnelllebigkeit.
In dieser Episode spreche ich mit Andi Spies
über die Entstehung des Magazins, prägende Momente der
Anfangszeit und die Frage, warum Print auch im digitalen
Zeitalter noch immer Relevanz hat.
Wir reden über die Entwicklung des Surf-Printmarktes, über die
Bedeutung guter Texte in einer visuell dominierten Welt und
darüber, was eine starke Story wirklich ausmacht. Außerdem geht
es um den Wandel der deutschen Surf-Szene, den zunehmenden
Surftourismus, Surfcamps – und darum, was dabei vielleicht
verloren gegangen ist.
Ein weiteres Thema: KI, Bildüberdruss und
Authentizität. Warum echte Fotografie – gerade im Reise-
und Surfbereich – nicht ersetzbar ist und weshalb Menschen sich
wieder nach echten Bildern und echten Geschichten sehnen.
Zum Abschluss werfen wir einen Blick nach vorn:
