Betsy's guest today is Deborah Greenhut, Ph.D., a best-selling
author of two books: The Hoarder’s Wife: A Novel and The Rational
Caregiver: How to Protect Your Life While Taking Care of Other
People.

Deborah is also a keynote speaker, lifelong caregiving educator,
podcast guest, professional and executive life coach, and the
founder of Creative Room for Learning, LLC. She has been featured
in Insight Magazine and listed in Who’s Who in America 2024-2025
for her 50 years of service as an educator and author.

Deborah appeared as a guest in April 2024, during which they
discussed her impactful books and caregiving insights. In this
engaging interview, she also previewed her upcoming book, The
Sharegiver and The Crown: A Journey to Empowered Caregiving, which
will be available on Amazon by the end of September or early
October. Additionally, Deborah is launching her podcast, The
Sharegiving Secret: How to Survive Family Caregiving, across
multiple platforms starting in October.

During our conversation, they both emphasized how vital it is for
caregivers to share their stories and experiences to assist others,
seek support, and delegate responsibilities. We explored the
importance of self-care, preserving one’s quality of life,
maintaining personal power, and effective communication.
