The Need For Dads // A Father's Day Message // June 19, 2022

We have a desperate need for Father’s in the home. We have a
drought in California and our leaders are taking hard steps to
conserve water. But there is a worse drought in America:
Fatherless homes. This is maybe our biggest root of societal
problems, yet we don’t seem to factor this in as a huge cultural
dilemma. This father’s day I want to take us into the life of the
prodigal son’s father. I want us to see a father in the home in
action and why he is so important. Why children need a dad around
them everyday. What a father brings to the table. And it only
makes sense that Fathers are important because Jesus called God
“His Father.”
