What To Do When Life Takes A Bad Turn // Summer of Psalms // July 20, 2025

Continuing our Summer of Psalms, we turn to Psalm 3, a Psalm of
David. To say that David is being put through the ringer is an
understatement. David’s life has taken a bad turn. His son is
against him, friends have turned on him, people are telling him
that God has abandoned him, and then there is one man throwing
rocks at him while verbally abusing David.  Yeah, I’d say
life is bad. But it is in this Psalm that we can learn some
important lessons in David’s response to these attacks. Join
me as we dive into the inner workings of the man David and how he
dealt with his miserable situation.
