Opposite Living // Living Sacrifice // August 21, 2022

Have you noticed how our natural response to situations or people
can be so contrary to what God says in His word? As we finish
chapter 12 Paul the writer challenges us to live contrary to our
gut feelings. Specifically he is challenging us to use our
energies to serve others…all others. To do good to people…even
when they may not deserve it or have done some not so nice things
to us. This is contrary living. This is Jesus living. Therefore
it is right living because after all Jesus said, “The greatest
among us is the servant of all” and that “He, the Son of man came
to serve.”
