The Power Of The Name Of Jesus // Acts: To the Ends of the Earth // February 12, 2023

We come to a moment in time where it seems people are trying to
jump on the “Jesus Name” bandwagon. What I mean is, they attempt
to verbally use the name of Jesus to cast out a demon. The
problem is, they have no relationship with Jesus. Which means
that they are not under the authority of Jesus, they have not
surrendered their lives to Him for salvation. So when seven
brothers attempt to use the name of Jesus to cast out a demon,
the demon turns on them and strips and beats them and they take
off running for their lives. We will look at this chapter in the
early church to see what went wrong and how we can use the power
of the Name of Jesus properly.
