Why I Need Friends // The Letter To Colossae // November 10, 2024

Paul the writer of Colossians finishes his letter with the
mentioning of some of his friends. You can hear his heart and his
feelings he has for these friends of his. One of the sadder
things in life is to hear someone say, “I don’t need anyone.”
That is absolutely not true. And it sure isn’t Biblical because
God said in the beginning, “It’s not good for man to be alone.”
And yes it was said about a marital companion, but it is also
true on a wider spectrum. We need friends. We need people. We
need others. And Paul is taking us down the road of “Why I need
friends.”
