The Real Empire Strikes Back // He Shall Reign // December 01, 2024

We begin our Christmas series by looking at the genealogy of
Jesus in Matthew chapter one. If you’ve read the genealogies you
are probably thinking, how can you teach from them? Well,
friends, there is plenty there to share, especially since it
culminates with Jesus being born. I’ve titled this message, “The
Real Empire Strikes Back” because Adam handed the world over to
Satan when he sinned. This world system has been the Devil’s
domain…UNTIL, the real empire strikes back in the form of the
God-man Jesus Christ coming to earth to save us from our sins,
self, and Satan. And today we embark on a journey revolving
around the birth of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
