In this episode Kat discusses the process of Binge Eating
Disorder (BED) recovery and how MMM uses both behavioural weight
loss therapy and the psychoeducational components of BED to
create abstinence from binge eating. We cover various tools and
techniques that can be implemented to help reduce urges to
overeat, as well as challenge thoughts and behaviours around
nutrition and body image.

Kat is an Occupational Therapist, Neuro-Linguistic Programming
Practitioner, Personal Trainer, Fitness Expert and Accredited
Nutritionist based in New York City. Kat has worked around the
world in the health and fitness industry as a Coach, Therapist
and Trainer for over 13 years.
Kat works on improving the relationship that athletes and members
of the community have with food, body image and nutrition,
through her online business, Macros, Muscles & Mindset.
Kat has featured on the podcast numerous times in the past, and
shares her story behind why she is passionate about helping
others identify and address eating disorders, and that is through
her own lived experience.
