Jamie is an Entrepreneur, Performance Coach, Online Business
Strategist, and a Podcaster.
He is a friend, a colleague, and an awesome guy with great
conversational and communication skills. We were due for a
catch-up, so I reached out to him to record an episode. The plan
was to record a couple of different conversations over the course
of an hour, to drop them as separate episodes. Well, we recorded
for over 3 hours.
This is the third of those conversations, where we discuss his
most recent transformation. What started out as a commitment to
himself to drop a little weight, tighten up his nutrition, and
improve his daily energy levels and vitality led him down a path
of discovery that was both shocking and challenging.
Jamie employed the help of a number of professionals in the
health and fitness industry to guide him on this journey,
learning along the way that consistent bouts of antibiotics used
to treat a skin condition, had caused massive problems with his
gut health and immune system, ultimately leading to testing
protocols which pointed to potentially cancerous cells.
This conversation covers a lot of ground and provides a lot of
thought-provoking dialogue and actionable takeaways for the
audience. Grab a notepad and pen, strap in, and enjoy the
conversation as we take a deep dive into the discipline required
to stay on track, as well as provide real-life examples of what
an elimination diet is, and how to conduct it for your own
individual needs.

"I shouldn’t be in the position I am right now."
The odds were stacked against me:
Poor family on welfare, eldest of 6 kids, parents didn’t work,
abusive step-dad, no electricity or running water for a 6 years
period of my life
Caught up with the wrong crowd, stealing, drugs, skipping
school
At 14 years old, I sat on a bus for 3 days with $50 in my
pocket, to travel to the next State over West, to begin a new
life in the workforce - 2000
14 - 20: I grew up and learned how to become a man through work
and rugby
20 - 26: I lived, trained and fought as a professional soldier,
at a high level
26 - 32: I became a personal trainer, after failing in my pursuit
to become a firefighter
32 - 38: I worked with, and won world titles with some of the
best athletes on the planet, as their strength and conditioning
coach
