you actually detox yourself from the allure of diets and weight
loss if you struggle with self-acceptance?


Kari Anderson says we have to practice mindfulness. It’s not

your mood and emotions, you can make better decisions about what

Get to know Kari


Dr. Kari Anderson has been treating eating disorders for 25
years, with emphasis on Binge Eating Disorder. She currently is
Executive Director for Green Mountain at Fox Run in Ludlow,
Vermont and acts as President of the Women’s Center for Binge and
Emotional Eating. Co-creator of the Am I Hungry? Mindful Eating
for Binge Eating Program, Kari also co-authored the award-winning
book, Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat for Binge Eating: A
Mindful Eating Program for Healing Your Relationship with Food
and Your Body.
