"Cody Matthew Johnson is a multi-media composer, music producer,
audio director, sound designer, and multi-instrumentalist whose
irreverent, unapologetic, and fresh perspective on music blurs
the boundaries of conventional music. Johnson’s musical work for
Devil May Cry 5 has been critically acclaimed, garnering
nominations such as The Game Awards, SXSW Gaming Awards, NAVGTR
Awardsand more; the song “Saudade (feat. Shim)” for Resident Evil
2 won an Hollywood Music in Media Award for Best Song - Video
Game and garnered a nomination at the Game Audio Network Guild
Awards for Best Song.
Cody is a founder of Emperia Sound and Music, a full service

media, VR/MR/AR, and immersive audio, and serves as the Emperia
