#174 Get Out of Victim Mentality ASAP, with Author Anthony McKinney

In this episode, newly published author, Anthony McKinney, opens
up about the childhood trauma he experienced, how it inspired his
new book, "The Fatherless Child", and how people need to get out
of victim mentality because it will only hinder you. 

Biography:

I’m a 32- year old, Mississippi native that has always had a
passion for people. Since I was young I always thoroughly enjoyed
sitting around the elders in my family and sharing life stories.
I currently live in Atlanta,Ga. I believe that it is empowering
and therapeutic for all to share their stories. 

Spud is a young boy who lives with his family in rural
Mississippi where life should be carefree. He witnesses domestic
violence and becomes a victim of sexual assault all in one year.
For spud, life is anything but simple. Fortunately, he finds
refuge in a young girl named Santorica. Soon after they fall in
love, a life changing event has the potential to separate the two
love birds, and change his life forever.
