Nancy Lynn, author of The Young Polished Professional: Exude
Confidence, Credibility, and Composure, wrote the book with the
purpose of teaching young professionals the skills needed to make a
successful transition from college to the business world. Lynn says
that “life is all about transitions” and the book serves as a tool
that young professionals entering the workforce can use to create a
great first impression, get that job offer, and get a promotion.
She points out that young people need to learn to be present, how
to act in different situations and remember to pause before
