1611 Reckless Love

Did you wake up discouraged? Feeling lost or hopeless?
You may live like you have to prove something. But God has a
reckless love for you. A love that searches and finds you,
calling you beloved.


You are not required to be a certain someone or do a certain
thing. You are not expected to accomplish all of which you try
and check off all the boxes.

The world may have requirements and expectations. The world may
push you to succeed the way they want you to.


All God asks is for you to accept His son, Jesus Christ, as your
Lord and Savior. To repent of your sins and follow Him.


Yet there you are living life through a distorted lens.


At church, we were singing the song, "Reckless Love" by Cory
Asbury.


In this song, it reminds me how God hand picks each of us. His
love is SO deep and SO wide. No matter how much we are hurting or
what is going on in life, God always makes time for us.
Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming
close to him to hear him. The Pharisees and the scribes
murmured, saying, “This man welcomes sinners, and eats with
them.”He told them this parable. “Which of you men, if you had
one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldn’t leave the
ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost,
until he found it? When he has found it, he carries it on his
shoulders, rejoicing. When he comes home, he calls together
his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me,
for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I tell you that
even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who
repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no
repentance. ~ Luke 15:1-7

When you run and hide, God goes searching for you. He won't back
down until He brings you back. His love is indescribable.


And on that day, God picks you up, placing you on His shoulders
rejoicing. "I have found my sheep that was lost."
The K.I.S.S. ~ Reckless love!

The way God loves you goes far beyond the galaxy. His love
reaches from the heavens to the earth for you. He moves mountains
and crushes obstacles that get in the way.


God finds you even when you are hiding in the depths of despair
and disappointment. He meets you in the shadows to lead you into
the light.


He breaks barriers and covers your sin with His sacrifice of His
Son, Jesus Christ.


You think you are facing something that you can't handle. But
you're not alone.


God saw you before you arrived where you are now. He has prepared
for you a way to pass through this season.


So why are you discouraged? Why is your heart heavy?


“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and
I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from
me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find
rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is
light.” ~ Matthew 11:28-30


The reckless love God has is not just for everyone else. His
reckless love is for YOU!
