night. What secrets are your food cravings telling you?
It's the nagging and pesky cravings that attaches to your tummy
and then sucks your mind in.

Food cravings are debilitating to psyche and can derail any
health goal.
No one wants to be defeated by food.
So instead of letting the cravings rule you, listen to the
secrets of what the cravings are telling you.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Listen to the secrets!
CHOCOLATE
CRAVE: Chocolate
NEED: Magnesium, chromium, B-vitamins, or essential fatty acids
EAT: Dark chocolate (at least 75% cocoa), real fruit, legumes,
nuts and seeds
CARBOHYDRATES
CRAVE: Bread, crackers, noodles, pasta
NEED: Sign of insulin resistance, hypoglycemia, chromium
deficiency, or fatigue.
EAT: Chromium and Magnesium rich foods like bananas, apples,
apricots, spinach, avocado, broccoli, celery, and chard.
SWEETS 'N SUGAR
CRAVE: Cakes, candy, and cookies
NEED: Blood sugar imbalances and mineral deficiencies like
chromium and magnesium.
EAT: Real fruit
SALT
CRAVE: Salty foods
NEED: Result of stress hormone fluctuations and low levels of
electrolytes.
EAT: Stress - Go for the B-vitamin rich foods like nuts, seeds,
legumes, whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Electrolytes -
coconut water with no added sugar.
FRIED FOOD
CRAVE: Fried foods
NEED: Deficiency in essential fatty acids.
EAT: High quality fats like salmon, avocado, nuts and nut
butters, olive oil, coconut milk, and coconut oil.
COFFEE OR TEA
CRAVE: You needing more than a caffeine fix.
NEED: Sulfur or iron deficiency
EAT: Leafy greens (kale, spinach, and cabbage). Consume Vitamin C
for better iron absorption.
SODA/CARBONATED BEVERAGES
CRAVE: Bubbly carbonated soda
NEED: Calcium
EAT: Broccoli, kale, legumes, cheese, mustard and turnip greens.
RED MEAT
CRAVE: Hamburger or a steak. Red meat (even if you're a
vegetarian).
NEED: Iron deficiency which can lead to fatigue, lowered immune
health and overall weakness.
EAT: Beans, legumes, spinach, dried fruit
NON-FOOD ITEMS (PICA - other than normal foods)
CRAVE: Ice, clay, dirt, chalk
NEED: Iron/mineral deficiency
EAT: Dark leafy vegetables, legumes, nuts and seeds
