One of the most common struggles in a marriage is that of the
loss of being in love; the feeling that love is no longer there.


Something has changed. Something is different. There is no
tingling feeling, no pitter-patter of the heart, or the
attraction is just gone.


"I just don't feel the same anymore."


"I've fallen out of love!"


What's love got to do with it?


This hurts SO much when you hear the man (or the woman) you've
loved forever say this out loud.


Maybe you've had these thoughts, or been on the end of it being
said to you.


Love is not a second-hand emotion.


Love is a choice. Love is a verb that requires action.


You get out of it what you put in it.


If you are one who is wanting love to just happen; you want those
feelings to be the sizzle of your heart, you will be disappointed
or will disappoint. Either way, you're on the losing end.


However, just because you hear this from your spouse (or you have
thought it, maybe even said it), not all hope is lost.


Your marriage isn't over! You're not doomed!


But you have to make a choice.


Are you going to subtract value or add value?
The K.I.S.S. ~ Add value to your marriage!

Stop trying to see how you can get even. The only person you're
hurting is yourself.


So add value to your marriage.
Love is a commitment. Make a choice to love,
don't base your love on a feeling. Love when your spouse
doesn't deserve it. Choose what's valuable, not what's
easy. Love as God loves you. This is the
unconditional love. No judgment.

Your consistent actions will soften the heart of your spouse.
Your consistent actions will ripen the heart to love. Your
actions will add value to your marriage.


What's love got to do with it?


EVERYTHING!


At one point in your life, you believed without a doubt that your
spouse deserved your heart and your unconditional love.


Remember that the easiest choice is rarely the best choice.


Let your love shine through.
