1665 Sunshine and Shadows

Raising a child is never over. Just when you think the
lesson is taught, think again. Sunshine and shadows; a daily
passion project.


What blows my mind is watching your child catch onto an idea and
a concept that you hope is repeated. But shortly thereafter, the
moment of learning seems to fade as if it never existed.

And then, you have the complete opposite. A rush of optimism
feels your heart knowing that what you taught is in turn
practiced.


What is it with this push and pull?


At first, if you don't succeed, try, try again.


We forget how our parenting is pivotal in their every day.


What we do counts. They are always watching and always
reflecting.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Illuminate your passion project
daily!

Your passion project is your shadow, your child, which in turn is
you.
Be intentional about how your shadow is
illuminated. Your child is a reflection of you. How are
you lifting up your child, encouraging your child, loving your
child unconditionally? Be the brightness in the dullness of the
day. What you see is what you get. Be a reflection
of what you want to see. This is who you are. What do you want to
highlight? What are the best things you want to bring out?
Illuminate your heart. The illumination of your
heart influences the reflection of your shadow's image.

What is represented in your shadow is reflected in you.


Parenting, teaching, mentoring, and training children takes
dedication and A LOT of heart.


Yes, you will grow weary. Yes, you will wish at times that you're
not in it to win it; you just want it to be over. Yes, you will
have disagreements. Yes, you will be right. And yes, you will be
wrong.


But what's important is knowing that your child desires to be
known in your eyes and your heart.
