Getting overwhelmed is easy nowadays. Busyness has your
schedule hijacked. And the distractions are so loud, you forget the
power of a whisper.

details of what's being spoken.

It's like a special secret that you want to hear, even though
so much is going on around you.


There's cause to pause; the power of a whisper.


Lately, I have been strategic about the noise around me. What I
have noticed is that there's so much noise being consumed by my
ears, that the distractions are constant disruptions. It's the
heartbeat of my every day.


My mind has difficulty focusing and keeping on task. And once
when I'm ready to settle back in, another distraction.


It's no wonder that with the busyness of the day and the
distractions, we can feel like we are moving backward instead
of forwards.


When we keep feeding our ears with excess noise, we are
shutting out some of the most important conversations. And that
conversation I'm referring to is between you and God.


I have a television in my bedroom. Now Oprah would tell me
that's bad for my marriage. However, at night, I use it to
settle my mind. Because if it's too quiet, I can't go to sleep.


Well in my nightly routine, I have started turning the TV off
and not using the sleep timer. I decided that my quiet time at
night and in the morning would be 100% reserved for God.


Noise can deafen your ability to hear God and know your divine
appointed dreams.


Who wants to miss their dreams and have less of a connection
with God just because you weren't listening.

Are you tuned in to God? Are you turning down the noise and
turning up the silence?


God often speaks the loudest when we are the quietest.

You can't know what you don't hear.

listen earnestly; to lead with quiet?

Be aware of how you are listening or not listening to God. The
power of a whisper will speak loudly to your heart if you're
willing to tune in and turn up God.
