If we’ve learned anything from the stories we’ve created and
passed down since the beginning of time, when society finds
itself in the midst of extraordinary circumstances, a hero
emerges with new superpowers that can either be the or the
revival or the demise of the world as we once knew it. In our
case, the pandemic gave rise to one such hero. The fitness
consumer. Their superpower? Choice.
Now that people can workout from anywhere, at any time, with
anyone from around the globe - and a fitness professional can
start a business with nothing more than an iPhone, social media
and a payment processing platform - providing a good workout in a
beautiful space isn’t enough anymore.
There will always be people who want to work out from home and
there will always be people rely on the accountability of a
community and thrive in a live experience with other people. This
duality has existed since the beginning of fitness and it’s not
going anywhere.
