Lidia has over 10 years experience as a life coach and has a
master's in positive psychology. She has qualifications in
multiple coaching disciplines, including neuro linguistic
programming, and MSC EIT emotional intelligence, as well as being
a certified coach. She has created a resilience framework called
"Head, Heart, Hugs," designed for parents of primary school aged
children. 

Lidia's top 3 tips for handling difficult emotions:
Recognize and accept your emotions.  Separate them from
the actions used to express them.Learn how to articulate your
emotions and increase your emotional vocabulary.Appreciate your
emotions as a means of gathering information.

In terms of parenting and raising children to have resilience,
it's important to allow children to feel discomfort. The only way
they'll learn how to process their emotions in healthy ways is if
they're given the chance to learn, with tools to help them learn
healthy processing techniques.
