Dr. Feylyn Lewis, Ph.D. discusses how she became a caregiver at age

Dr. Feylyn discusses the importance of Mental Health for young
caregivers, and what their struggles are such as anxiety,
depression, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm. Betsy and Dr. Feyln
discussed how important it is for parents and guardians to keep
communication lines open and to encourage young caregivers to have
fun and do self-care! Dr. Feylyn Lewis, Ph.D. discussed how
educators can get involved when they see a student struggling.
Betsy has often said, "Our children are the hidden victims of the
war against Alzheimer's!"
There are many reasons why a young person can be a caregiver! Many
