Dr. Aaron Blight is an International Speaker and consultant on
Caregiving, Aging, and Healthcare, served as a family caregiver,
home company care owner, Caregiving Scholar, and policy leader at

Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Learning and is an adjunct
professor of public health at Shenandoah University. Also, Dr.
Blight is the Founder of Caregiving Kinetics.
Dr. Aaron Blight is the Author and Writer of "WHEN CAREGIVING
CALLS", Guidance as You Carefree a Parent, Spouse or Aging
Relative. Also, Dr. Blight discussed what motivated him to write
this book which helps caregivers in various ways of dealing with
their emotions by asking themselves questions of reflection at the
end of each chapter.
Dr. Blight discusses the emotional changes and learning experiences
caregivers go through, and how caregivers should show themselves
self-compassion just as they show compassion for their loved ones.
Betsy and Dr. Blight also discussed how Caregivers feel guilty and
can experience Caregiver PTSD, and how validating and recognizing
our emotions are very important to our health!
They also discussed Caregiving Kinetics which is an excellent
resource for Caregivers, there are many free downloads available to
