After a failed attempt to go a full month with "no screens", I set out to discover how excessive screen time can harm children. What I found is that my child is not the only one in danger, I am as well! Also, as the parent, that I must model how I want my child to relate to social media. I always said I wasn't having kids, and part of that was not getting married. Here I am blessed with a life and family that I never planned for. I could never imagine my future self with any of the guys that I met/dated. Scott has shown me that ultimately, my decision was right in how he has made God and our marriage a priority. Like I mentioned last week, marriage isn't easy and this step-blended family deal escalates that. I am thankful for my loving husband, Scott.
