Our guest today is Andrew Yates, who is the CEO and co-founder of Promoted AI, that produces better search results and feed ranking for marketplaces, hence matching buyers and sellers more efficiently.  I have been working in the domain of content ranking for some time, where the basic premise is to understand consumer needs and show them highly relevant content, while also optimizing for business objectives like revenue, conversion rate etc.    I came across this lean 8 person startup called Promoted, that uses Ad-Tech to scale a variety of different marketplaces. I talked to Andrew to know more about his journey, what motivated him to start Promoted, how he found his cofounder in Dan, how they are distributing equity among the founding team and finally got to know more about Andrew as a person.
