In our new episode we are very pleased to be joined by Kyeretwie
Opoku, the convener of the Socialist Movement of Ghana. We learn
from him about the current political situation in Ghana and West
Africa and how it was shaped from the continuity of
(neo)colonialism.
Related to this he describes the evolution of US-Imperialism as a
dominant power in Ghana and elaborates on how in general
„imperialism is considering and exploring the potential of
resumption of colonial direct political governance“ in form of
military, economic and political control - and how this differs
to the impact of the Peoples Republic of China on the african
continent. He then concludes how a continuesly evolving strategy
and tactics is built on the connection of pan-africanism,
anti-imperialism and socialism to advance the daily class
struggle in Ghana.
