Bonegilla documentary: From the rubble of Berlin to Australia - Bonegilla-Doku: Aus den Trümmern Berlins nach Australien

After the Second World War, European refugees were accommodated in
the former Bonegilla detention center in Victoria. The musician and
artist Simon Reich, himself the son of a German emigrant, has made
an award-winning documentary about the camp and its inhabitants. We
talk to the filmmaker and his father Manfred. The now 89-year-old
was a first-hand witness of the war in Berlin and emigrated to
Australia in 1958. - In dem ehemaligen Auffanglager Bonegilla in
Victoria wurden nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg europäische Flüchtlinge
