Zh: 新年的前夕，上海的外滩笼罩在一片节日的欢腾中。
En: On the eve of the New Year, Shanghai's The Bund was enveloped
in a festive cheer.

Zh: 黄浦江的水面反射着历史建筑的灯光，游客和本地人都期盼着午夜的焰火表演。
En: The surface of the Huangpu River reflected the lights of
historic buildings, as both tourists and locals eagerly awaited the
midnight fireworks display.

Zh: 梅，一个年轻的女子，站在江边，心中思绪万千。
En: Mei, a young woman, stood by the river, her mind filled with
countless thoughts.

Zh: 过去的一年并不顺利，她希望在新年能找到新的希望。
En: The past year had not been smooth, and she hoped to find new
hope in the new year.
