Savior: the "gentle Jesus" who finds merit in all religious
ideas. No, Mark tells us of a Christ who liked to stir
things up. He wanted us to know the truth, and that
required Him to expose falsehood - especially sanctimonious
falsehoods. The reality behind this argument is central to
Jesus' ministry - and it is shocking.
