On Saturday, October 22nd, I journeyed to Oscar Grant Plaza
in front of City Hall to speak with members the Occupy Oakland
movement. The camp was peaceful with a positive vibe. But in the
week since my conversations, the community made national
headlines due to its violent clashes with the Oakland police.
Here are my conversations with early Occupy Oakland organizers
Adam and Josh, as well as
Vernon of the Oakland Public Library.
