Tra i tantissimi casi di cronaca nera che hanno polarizzato
l’opinione pubblica italiana, quello passato alla cronaca come
delitto di Cogne è senza ombra di dubbio uno dei più celebri:
merito, o forse sarebbe più appropriato dire colpa, di uno degli
omicidi più efferati che la cultura popolare recente ricordi. Non
solo per il delitto in sé, quello di un bambino di soli tre anni
e due mesi, ma anche perché il colpevole, come sarà appurato al
termine delle indagini, è sua madre Annamaria Franzoni.

Among the many crime cases that have polarized Italian public
opinion, the one that has passed into the news as the Cogne crime
is without a shadow of a doubt one of the most famous: the merit,
or perhaps it would be more appropriate to say the fault, of one
of the most heinous murders that recent popular culture can
remember. Not only because of the crime itself, that of a child
only three years and two months old, but also because the
culprit, as will be ascertained at the end of the investigation,
is his mother Annamaria Franzoni.
