12 From a Distance

This is my Longplayer so far.. In 2009, my wanderlust led me to the
Cape of Good Hope, a land full of contrasts, but also impressive
flora and fauna. Those few weeks at the outer tip of Africa left
far more of a mark than I realized. When it came to finding a theme
for my first album, I didn't have to think long. The album's 12
tracks are closely linked to people, experiences, and places at the
Cape of Good Hope. The whales of "Walker Bay" are immortalized with
their song in track 10. The voice in track 11 was a daily
companion, and Africa Day represents the joy of life and the hope
of the people of South Africa. I'll leave the design of all the
